Wisconsin Insurance Adjuster License

Wisconsin does not license insurance adjusters. We recommend Wisconsin residents who want to become a claims adjuster obtain a “Designated Home State” or DHS license. A DHS license basically works just like having your home state license and is vital if you want to work any claims outside of your nonlicensing state.

While a host of different states offer a DHS license, the Florida 70-20 Nonresident DHS license is our top choice. It offers great reciprocity and Florida has the quickest application turnaround time in the country.

Our Florida Certified Adjuster Pre-Licensing course fulfills the Florida Department of Financial Services prerequisite for obtaining the 70-20 Designated Home State License. Simply complete our course and pass the included exam, and you are ready to apply for your Florida DHS License.

At the end of the 40-hour course, you will be given a 100-question, multiple-choice exam. Unlimited practice tests are included in the course, and we recommend students consistently achieve 90% on the practice tests before taking the exam. You must correctly answer at least 70% of the questions to pass. If you don't pass the exam on your first try, don't fret. We'll let you retake it a few more times at no extra charge.

Once you pass, you are ready to submit your adjuster application to the state. You do not need to take another test through a testing provider. Instructions for how to apply for your Florida 70-20 DHS license will be provided at the end of your course.

We think you'll be pleasantly surprised at how much you'll enjoy our course. It's easy to navigate, covers a wide range of topics, offers quizzes after each module to test your knowledge in real-time, and even has a few corny jokes thrown in to keep you on your toes.

See Florida Statute 626.221 (j) where certification by All‑Lines Training (a brand of AdjusterPro) is approved as an alternative to the state exam.
